GSM
A stylish Rhône-style cuvée of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from the famed Willow Creek District, aged in 40 percent new French oak barrels. The nose is loaded with aromas of cherry, strawberry and raspberry, interlaced with notes of dried herbs and cinnamon. A balanced body finishes gracefully with dusty, structured tannins.
Grenache
This Grenache is everything you would expect from the Willow Creek District, the epicenter of Paso Robles Rhônes, bursting from the glass with aromas of bright red fruits, cardamom and cinnamon spice. Flavors of bing cherry cascade along a full, broad body, all with an ease that will keep you coming back for more.
Syrah
Hailed as a “narrowly focused Rhône-oriented wine region ready for exploration,” Santa Barbara County’s Alisos Canyon AVA is renowned for its sumptuous Syrahs. This wine was 50 percent whole-cluster pressed and aged in 66 percent new French oak barrels. The nose is loaded with white pepper, blackberry jam, purple plum and blueberry. A precise, dense palate displays refined tannins with flavors of dried herbs and stewed fruits.
Cabernet Sauvignon
A detour from our Rhône focus and into the other standard bearer of Paso Robles: Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in 100-percent new French oak barrels, this wine offers generous aromas of ripe boysenberry, cherry and eucalyptus. A juicy, densely layered palate finishes with rich tannins and hints of dark chocolate.
Syrah de Saule
A uniquely commanding expression of Willow Creek District Syrah, aged in 85 percent new French oak barrels. Aromas of ripe red fruits, leather and blueberry yield to impressions of sweet oak and violet. A deliciously layered palate of dark fruits finishes with dense, chalky tannins that promise immediate pleasure as well as staying power in the cellar.
Eight10 (Paso meets Rhone blend)
Our unconventional ode to Paso Robles, blending three next-generation Rhône varieties—Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre—with Zinfandel, our region’s heritage grape dating back to the 1800s. The aroma profile is loaded with plum, boysenberry and allspice. A supple, delicious palate is driven by dried cherry flavors, mouthwatering acidity and spicy tannins. 198 cases produced. Our journey was founded by our wedding on August 10 (Eight10) and after decades of dreaming and saving, an amazing property came on the market on our 30th wedding anniversary; August 10th! Now, three years later we have bottled our first vintage of wine and formally launched Creekcut on August 10th…thus the significance of our Rhône style red wine blend name; Eight10.
S&M
A 50/50 blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged in 100-percent new French oak barrels for elevated expression. Drawing cool coastal energy from the Templeton Gap District, this wine displays earthy aromas of dark fruits, graphite and herbs. A rich, viscous mouthfeel reveals bittersweet chocolate notes with chewy tannins. The result is a deep-thinking wine for fans of Northern Rhônes.
